The Future Is In Our Hands

Welcome to the blog dedicated to taking our planet back from the harmful system that is currently destroying our planet and hindering the advancement of our society. If you take a step back and look at the past 100 years it is pretty easy to see that things have gotten a little out of hand. So much has happened in a brief period of time that we are now paying the consequence for rapid advancement with no long-term plan for sustainability. Everything that surrounds us these days is focused on short term profits there is no room to take the necessary action for a better future. This blog will examine the most important issues of our time. My goal is to get everyone educated on the true history of capitalism and the banking industry and how it affects the environment, politics, government, and society.

Without a doubt, we are living in the most interesting period of history ever. All information from every culture throughout history is available to anyone with a smartphone in a matter of seconds. We are now able to pick up where the smartest men of all time left off. The world has been thoroughly explored and mapped out in extreme detail. You can even look at every corner of the planet with Google earth. There are no longer new worlds across vast oceans with unknown resources. We have finally understood the earth like no generation before us. We can explain phenomena through science that were once thought of as mystical or supernatural. We do not have to live in fear of illness. We are no longer limited by distance and accessibility. Today we have an entirely new set of problems.

We have multinational corporations operating worldwide and taking no true allegiance to any country. They are only trying to maximize profits by any means necessary with no consideration for the environment or long-term sustainability in the places they do business. We have many issues of conflict of interest with a lot major companies and the government, the USDA, and other organizations that affect the business of these companies. Our political system has been corrupted with greed. Our economy relies on consumption and infinite growth. We are overfishing the ocean and polluting our rivers. We are clear cutting forests and preventing the growing of industrial hemp. We have not been using our technology responsibly. Our forefathers would be very upset.

We are running out of resources and destroying the plant. All methods of the past are no longer relevant because we have new problems that the world has never faced before.  Unfortunately we have all become victims to the corporate agendas that consume every aspect of American culture because we did not listen to Thomas Jefferson who once said, “Every generation needs a new revolution”. We need to put an end to the madness. We are smarter than we have been acting. It is now time to take responsibility for our actions and work together to address all of the problems that threaten life on this planet.

This blog will examine what is going on today, what has gotten us here, and what we can do to transition into a better world. There is still hope. People are starting to wake up and understand the severity of our problems. We have the technology to solve all of these problems today. We must take our planet back. We must act today.

There is almost still time to save our grandchildren.

Found this after I created the blog. Will.i.am has the right idea

“None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free”

About Andy Blanchard

I am an artist and a Business Management undergrad at University of Nevada, Reno. I am motivated to save the planet by changing the harmful and destructive business practices that have become standardized in the world today. The only way we can accomplish this is by shifting our values from privatization and profit to sustainability and longevity. We need to start using our technology responsibly and shift from short term profit to long term prosperity for the human race. We have the technology today to provide abundance for every human being on the planet. We are limited in implementing these practical solutions for all of our modern problems because of our current economic, monetary, and political systems have their own agenda. The concentration of wealth on this planet has reached new heights of unequal. We must continue the evolution of our social, economical, and political systems with the new technology and knowledge that we have today.
